Groots Honey Farm
The Groots operate a honey farm from July to September. At the farm, honey is extracted from the combs and tour groups are shown how the wax is removed and how the honey is filtered. Tour groups also have the opportunity to see what a live bee hive consists of. In the winter and spring time, a video can be shown to explain the honey extraction process and groups can tour the honey house as it is open year round.
