AITC and the Agribition Agri-Ed committee present: Agri-Ed Showcase

girlagrib_borderLaunched in 1987, Agribition's Agri-Ed Showcase will be celebrating its 26th year at Agribition in 2012. Agri-Ed Showcase has been one of the agriculture industry's best tools in educating urban and rural youth about where the food on their table comes from.

Who? Students in grades K - 8

When? Monday, November 19 - Friday, November 24, 2012

Where? Co-operators Centre, Regina, SK

What? Students will have an opportunity to participate in a mock livestock auction, daily demonstrations, quiz shows, an environmental agricultural board game, a cooking club and of course view over 2,000 head of world class livestock.

Why? Agriculture plays a very important role in Saskatchewan.  The displays and activities at the Agri-Ed Showcase help students meet some of the learning outcomes in Science, Social Studies and Health.
