What? Agriculture plays a very important role in Saskatchewan’s economy, communities and culture. This event will give students a chance to learn about agriculture through short, interactive presentations facilitated by producers and industry personnel.

Students will have a chance to:

  • See live farm animals
  • Watch a cow being milked & a Sheep Dog Presentation
  • Make Canola Oil
  • Learn about animal care, food production and today’s Agriculture industry through hands-on, interactive sessions
  • Bid against other schools in the “Cookie Auction” during lunch.

Why? Because food is what sustains us and the future of agriculture depends on people understanding and supporting it!  By the end of the day students will know more about the many products Saskatchewan farmers produce and appreciate the significance of agriculture within this province!
