The Greenscapades schoolyard learning gardens program is establishing schoolyard learning gardens in five community schools in Saskatoon.  

Through active involvement in Greenscapades, young people will become agents of change in their communities through hands-on experience in their schoolyard learning garden.  Greenscapades will serve as a platform to build community capacity and environmental stew

ardship in areas of Saskatoon where food security and access to nature on a regular basis are issues.

Program goals

The overall goal of Greenscapades project is to connect Saskatoon students with the land that sustains all life, and empower them to act and make choices based on that connection.
