Treasurer - Tim Stewart – Meyers Norris Penny
Tim Stewart is a Business Advisor with Meyers Norris Penny’s Agricultural Services Team in Saskatoon . Tim has had the opportunity to provide clients in the agricultural, mining, forestry and communications industries with financial statement audit and reviews, taxation advice, and business advisory services. Tim also has international commodity trade experience including development and implementation of a cost of production analysis model for Canadian Hard Red Spring Wheat and Durum Wheat in response to a United States trade investigation.
Aside from Tim’s experience with MNP, he also worked as a Corporate Controller responsible for the financial statement and product line cost of production reporting. With over eleven years of public practice experience, Tim is well equipped to service his diverse line of clientele.
Tim convocated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1997 and obtained his Chartered Accountant Designation in 2000.
Tim has had the opportunity to volunteer his free time to the community. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Agriculture in the Classroom, and has been the Treasurer for the banking function for events such as the 2006 Vanier Cup VanierFest and the 2004 Nokia Brier Patch.
