Jason Wildeboer Dairy Farmers of Saskatchewan

Jason Wildeboer was born in Lacombe, Alberta and grew up on a family dairy farm with his parents and four brothers. After graduating from high school he attended Olds College and then apprenticed in several different trades. In 1998 Jason decided to return to the family farm to dairy with his parents. In 2000 two of Jason’s brothers expressed interest in dairy farming as well, so he decided to make the move to Saskatchewan, the land of opportunity. With the help of his parents Jason started milking cows in May of 2000, with the construction of a new barn to be completed in the fall. A year and a half later Jason got married to his wonderful wife Tanya and they now have three vibrant, young children. Soon after moving to Saskatchewan Jason became involved with Saskatchewan Young Farmers Forum, and also served as one of the provincial delegates to Canadian Young Farmers Forum for a three year term. Jason is a member of the Saskatoon Christian Reformed Church and has served on church council. He is also a member of the provincial breed and DHI associations. Jason is presently serving as a delegate with the Dairy Farmers of Saskatchewan and it’s various sub committees.
